I have over eight years of experience with Special Needs individuals in several different settings including, vocational day programs, group homes, and school. I worked as a Behavioral Specialist and Treatment Coordinator for two years at The Cove Center, Inc. in Providence, Rhode Island with adults with Autism and multiple diagnoses. I reviewed and developed treatment programs working with other interpersonal professionals including families. I advocated for their rights and personal needs on a direct and executive level. As a direct care professional, I was trained and certified in ProACT and individual restraints, as well as g-tubes and such. I currently hold a CNA license and look forward to my continued education and work experience with the Special Needs population.
