I am an undergraduate student, working toward a degree in Speech and Hearing Science. Ultimately, I would like to work in speech therapy, providing care to children diagnosed with autism and/or other special needs. Throughout high school, I volunteered in aiding children with autism, both in school and in an after school programs. I feel like I really learned a lot through these experiences, and I learned so much from the kids that I worked with. These past experiences have greatly influenced the college and career decisions I have made thus far. I am really passionate about helping people, and I would love to gain further experience in working with and learning from individuals with special needs.
