I have been working with people of all ages with special needs for about 4 to 5 years, I started out just working at a respite care center and provided in home care to families with kids that had special needs. I would take them to the movies, out to eat, or just hang out. Then I worked at a center that helped people with special needs get a job. I was a training aide, after working there for about 2 years. I found a group home that provided therapy and a home for people with brain and spinal cord injuries.
