I have been a healthcare provider for over 12 years. I worked in Minnesota for over 6 years with Lutheran Social services ( Group home for special needs adults) and overseas in Melbourne, Australia. In addition, I worked in a nursing home for 2 years as a nurse aid working with the elderly. Lastly, special needs people are near and dear to my heart because of my 9-year-old who is on the spectrum. Here are some of the duties performed over my 12 years in the caregiving field. Duties include but not limited to: personal care, assist with bathing/dressing, medicine prompting, and all activities of daily living. Furthermore, I have done light housekeeping, meal preparation, physical active, transportation to doctor appointments, errands/shopping, pharmacy pickups, and companionship for clients. I have experience in senior care ( Dementia, Alzheimer, Mobility issues, etc...) and special needs ( Autism, Down Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy , Intellectual Disability, etc...).
