I worked in nursing homes, private homes, group homes, etc. My last patient was in a private home, needed total care, and had a G-tube for feeding and a ventilator for breathing. My job was to care for her for a 12 hour shift. I had to bathe, transfer, feed, and help her with range of motion, and keep her dry and clean. I helped with whatever was needed.
