I was a substitute aide with the Lake Elsinore School District and worked with children and teens with special needs including autism, physically handicapped in wheelchairs, and other mental impairments. I got a lot of enjoyment working with these very special children. My own now grown son had fairly severe asthma growing up. I worked at a school in San Diego for 13 years and dealt with children with many illnesses and conditions including diabetes. I worked for a pediatrician for three years also. I love children and am very compassionate, detail-oriented, patient and responsible. My own two parents both had cancer and I was the family member to take care of them both, took them to all medical appointments, give medications, oversee diet, etc. I love working with all children.
