My name is Carisa and I come from a long line of compassionate care givers. My first care giver position was one handed down to me from my mother. I am truly empathic and believe that providing care is a rewarding experience. I have assisted elderly and physically/mentally disabled individuals. I am able to provide aid to your loved one with: bathing, grooming, toileting/bedpan, medication reminders, laundry, taking and recording vitals, transferring and repositioning, dressing, errands, giving massages, transporting to medical appointments, and other activities of daily living as needed. I am also a great cook! I find home care the most rewarding as it allows individuals to maintain dignity while recovering, living with an ailment, or transitioning to the end of life in a familiar environment. Home care also allows me to provide a higher standard of one-on-one care. As a Certified Nursing Assistant, I am CPR and first aid certified, have reliable transportation with full coverage automobile insurance, TB tested, and willing to submit to background and drug testing. I am also an arts and crafts enthusiast and love to share craft making with those to whom I provide care. I believe artistic projects promote self esteem and contribute to satiating the need for activity and spiritual fulfillment to the person. I reside in the metro Atlanta area.
