I have always had a great bond with people who have Down Syndrome. My neighborhood has 6 people with Downs and I have a very close friend who has Downs. I have watched her many times since she was a baby and she is now 12 years old. I have my CNA and I know basic nursing skills so I could help with that. I also was a reading helper at this local Down Syndrome organization. I helped kids read from ages 5-13 years old.
