In high school, I ran the club called "Best Buddies." Though doing that, I had much experience outside of the class room visiting and aid in the care taking of the children I hung out with. I also have been apart of Special Olympics, and in college am in the Autism awareness club. The children I have experience with are between the ages of 13 and 23, but would be willing to take care of any age. In the past, I have gone bowling, to the park, and done many other activities with the children who have special needs, and see no reason to hold back on doing fun and exciting things!
