I have cared for children since age 16. I have more experience working with typical children, but I did care for a child with Angelman syndrome for a year. My duties included picking her up from school, prepared her meals, have her baths, helped with homework, kept her active and entertained, clean the house, and I would sometimes do overnight care for her if her mother had to work nights. As far as my other jobs working with children, I have done both overnight care from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. where I just provided snacks before bed and got them ready for school the next day. I coach gymnastics in the evenings M-Th starting at 6 p.m. but am available to nanny anytime from 5am-5 p.m. M-F. I am also willing to work some weekends.
