When I was a freshmen in high school, my mother made me volunteer in her school district with preschool students with special needs. The first day I walked into that classroom changed my life. I loved working with the students, I found my passion and what I wanted to do as my career. I volunteered throughout high school and for a year and a half was a babysitter for a child with autism. I am now working my way to get my degree in special education, early childhood and psychology.
