I have worked as a Nanny for several years and one family I worked for started out with one child and I worked for them through the birth of their third child. I have experience with all ages, as well as caring for children with special needs. I've worked specifically with children with autism, learning disorders, ADHD, ADD, Cerebral Palsy, Muscular Dystrophy, as well as children with mental retardation and Down syndrome. I've been a camp counselor for Muscular Dystrophy camp for seven years and I am experienced at working with different medical equipment related to children with special needs. I have also worked closely with children who do not have special needs. I have worked as an ABA therapist for four years with children with autism. I also have experience working with children with life threatening allergies (including food). I also have my CPR and First Aid certifications. I worked as the after school site coordinator for two years. Currently I am a full-time Nanny for a 18-month-old little girl during the days but I have weekends and most nights free.
