I have been to school and got my CNA certificate and I am CA state board certified. I graduated as one of the top students in my class. I am currently enrolled into the class for my HHA certificate. I do have my caregiver certificate. For the last five months, I have been working as a live-in caregiver for two hospice patients that had dementia. I was changing occupied and unoccupied beds, feeding, cooking, cleaning, bathing, perineal care, medications with permission from the family, adult undergarment changes, catheter care, companionship, range of motion exercises, positioning, and other things that needed to be done.
