As a young professional, I enjoy combining my education, talents, and passions to build my career. I view myself as creative and active and enjoy being silly. I have been working with children, whether teaching or as a caregiver for 10 years. After graduating undergrad, I continued working as an ABA Therapist and teacher's aide in a special needs classroom. It is the most rewarding job I could ask for. I work with children with Autism and other developmental disorders and I focus on developing language, cognitive skills, and social skills. I have over 150 observation hours in pediatric Speech/Language Therapy and 100 hours in pediatric Occupational Therapy. I have been a dance instructor at various studios in Chicago teaching ballet, tap, jazz, musical theater, and gymnastics for 6 years. I had the opportunity to develop and teach classes geared toward children with Autism and special needs.
