For the past 4 months, I have worked at a boarding school for children with special needs. I worked closely with 7 children in a family like setting. I would get the children ready for school and be in charge of there daily welfare. I worked with the children very closely. One goal was to help them learn how to independently get dressed and ready to go to school. Then when they went to school, I worked in the school. I was a teachers aid for the 8th, 7th and 6th grade classroom. In the classroom, I was in charge of working one on one with students to complete tasks. After school, I would take walks with some of the children and do activities. After supper, I would help the children get ready for bed and get ready for the next day. During the week, I had assigned days where I would be in charge of making breakfast, lunch and supper. Also during the weekend, I would help clean the house with the children.
