I'm currently a junior in the Special Education cohort. I always knew I wanted to work with children and children with exceptionalities have always tugged at my heart. I worked at a preschool this past year leading the pre-k after school and summer camp programs where I had the privilege of working with two students with autism and one child with down syndrome. After working with these amazing kids closely, I knew that I had the heart and patience that it takes to work with children who have special needs. I'm very passionate about these kids and would love even more experience working with them!
