I have worked with those with special needs for about 2 1/2 years now. I have worked with clients diagnosed with mental retardation, depression disorder, autism, Tourettes, and so forth. I love taking care of those with special needs because I am able to help them gain independence. I learn something new just about every day with the clients I am currently working with, and that is the joy of caring for those with special needs. After working with those with special needs you start to care for them, just as if they were one of your loved ones. I am a CNA, and I love caring for people.
