Working as a third grade teacher, I have had special needs students in my classroom and have worked with special education professionals to prepare necessary documentation so that they can receive special services designated by their IEP (Individualized Education Plan) as well as support them through inclusion when they are in my classroom. I have completed 12 credits of special needs coursework at the University of Nebraska Lincoln. Outside of my teaching career, I have cared for a boy with down's syndrome, worked with an autistic child while working in a before school program, trained to support a high school student with seizures, worked for a family with 3 boys with ADHD, and supported foster children who were emotionally and physically traumatized in a previous setting. I am seeking PT employment starting 9/6/22. I will be available from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. M-F while my son is in FT preschool. Days my son has no school may affect my availability.
