I am experienced with various types of arts and crafts, from scrap booking, beading, polymer clays and paints. I play guitar and ukulele and offer private voice and ukulele lessons, and love singing and incorporating any type of art or music while spending time with children. My degree is in English Literature and Education, and I often help revise papers and tutor on occasion, helping with homework. I grew up spending every summer in a foster home owned by my family for mentally handicap children, where I immediately grew to nurturing and loving these children and adopted cousins, learning patience, and wanting to continue being a care giver as an adult. After I received my AA degree, I spent some time in Miami substitute teaching at a private school that offered the Reggio Emilia educational philosophy. I spent most of my time between the infant room, pre-k 3, 4, and up to second grade. I also babysit for a few mothers if help is needed. From 2 months and up, I will be there to help care for your little ones. I am currently finishing the CDA 40 hour certifications for Florida, and if you have any requirements - just ask and I will do my best to help provide it.
