I have worked in Boston as a para in a classroom for special needs and handicap students during the summer for the past 4 years. I have worked with children from the ages of 5-18 including nonverbal, sensory, and motor issues. My mother has been a special needs teacher in Boston for over 20 years, I am starting to follow in her footsteps. Children who have special needs or are handicap are amazing children. They can do so much more than people think. Watching them learn and develop into adults is an amazing experience to watch.
