I have a multitude of experience with a wide range of clients. I have worked at a healthcare staffing agency from 2008-2012, who filled shifts in hospitals, nursing homes, assisted living facilities, patient's homes, and living facilities for the mentally handicapped. I have also had experience babysitting through my teenage years into early adulthood. The children I babysat ranged in age from 9 months to 10 years old. I have the most experience working with elderly clients. I am familiar with measuring and recording daily food and liquid intake and output, administering medication, accompanying clients to medical or dental appointments, shopping trips, and to recreational or religious events. I have demonstrated for and assisted patients in all aspects of personal hygiene, including; incontinence, diaper/brief changes, bed baths, assistance with bathing/showering, wound care, dressing, grooming, and dental and denture care. I have prioritized patient daily care according to scheduled patient procedures such as; exercise, walking assistance with cane, walker, and or wheelchair, entertainment, and cleaning.
