I have a passion for working with children with developmental disorders, especially those with autism. I volunteered at a speech and hearing center's autism summer camp last summer. I worked with three boys ranging in age from 6 to 12. The camp focused on improving the boy's social skills. I loved having the opportunity to work with them and seeing them improve was a great reward. In addition, I have degrees in communication disorders and psychology so I have experience with many different developmental disorders.
