Abbey has been a weekly caregiver for our now 5-y-o autistic daughter for over a year. She is absolutely fantastic--conscientious, extremely knowledgeable about autism (this is the field she will be doing her graduate work in), punctual, and friendly. But more importantly, she has developed a wonderful relationship with our daughter. Our daughter, already a pretty happy kid, simply beams even brighter when Abbey arrives. And even our daughter has her challenging days, Abbey is completely comfortable and more than able to handle them. Abbey has, on her own initiative, developed all kinds of activities and games, takes our daughter on all kinds of adventures in the neighborhood and beyond. We feel so lucky that she is part of our lives.
