I am a registered behavioral tech right now & I am currently in school furthering my education in psychology. I have worked with many different kids & I truly believe working with kids is my calling. I absolutely adore them & love every interaction I get with them. I love working with all types of kids!! I am very trustworthy & I treat all kids as if they are my own.

I've worked with kids my whole life! Junior mentor. Swim coach. Rehabilitation tech (special needs). Lead nursery teacher. Special needs camp staff. Daycare manager and I just finished several years as a nanny for a wonderful family! I have training in Pediatric CPR, First Aid, and SIDS, early childhood development education, a clean background check and driving record and in the last 3 years I've only called in sick twice! My teaching style is play-based and includes baby signs. My care style is consistency and understanding. Little ones have big feelings and it's our job to help them navigate those feelings in a way that makes them feel safe and loved on the good and the not so good days. The parents I've had the privilege of working with have been fantastic mentors as I learn what gentle parenting means and how to integrate that into my work with kids.

I am a caring person who has a passion for people! I have several years of child care experience. These years have included positions such as summer children's camp leader, foster child care supervisor, home-school tutor, and babysitter. These years have allowed me to build skills in organization, supervision and meeting the needs of each individual child in my care. I have worked with children who are medically fragile and have special needs. I love doing indoor and outdoor activities and engaging creative minds!

I'd describe my personality as energetic, patient and kind. I like working with kids because they see the world in a different light! Working with children is hard but also a job where I feel one gets to see the most growth and change in someone you are working with! I'm looking for a job that allows me to start full time in February after I return from maternity leave and would be flexible with me having my infant with me depending on care hours needed. I started working with children when I was a teenager. For the last 12 years I have worked as a nanny, homeschool tutor, worked as a visitation specialist within social services, worked with special needs and children with trauma backgrounds. While I believe children need structure, I also always approach life with flexibility and a love for adventure! I believe the experience I bring will greatly benefit both the child and the family! Hi my name is Stacie, I have some experience with special care for children. I helped raise my niece who has cerebral palsy and was feed through a feeding tube she also had ileostomy bag. I also have 12 nephews and 2 nieces. Which I help take care of all of them, at different times of course when the needed babysitting. I myself have a 4-year-old son who loves painting and arts and crafts.

I have 4 years of experience nannying children! I absolutely think that it is the most rewarding job. Kiddos all have such a gift to make me see the world differently.
