My experience is vast over the last 25 years as a caregiver. I have experience working with disabled youth as well as adults in many different settings from respite, education and day support services. I have several years experience working as a nanny with children ranging in age from newborn to 7 years of age. I have worked with children in a Special Education setting from Preschool through Middle School age. I have always enjoyed being a caregiver. I have several years experience as a certified nurse aide working in SNF as well as several in home cases taking care of elderly within their home setting. Within my own life I am a mother of 2 and a young grandmother of 2 so my experience with children is well over 20 years. My father passed away recently after his 5 year battle with Alzheimer's. I understand the personal struggle family members go through trying to care for their loved ones. I always try to do my best to care for others as if they are family; the same way that I hoped others would care for my Dad. I look forward to the opportunity to discuss my qualifications further.

I have over 2 years experience as med tech working in senior/Dementia and Alzheimer's facilities. I have graduated from an accredited CNA school and have worked that roll over the last 2 years as well. I have been a nurse for over 21 years and still Currently work at a hospital two days per week. I have been caring for the elderly for over 27 + years. I am CPR and ACLS certified I am fully vaccinated.

In addition to being a teacher of 11 years, I've also have experience taking care of my cousins who had special needs. In high school I started taking care of my disabled cousins while my aunt/uncle had date nights and church functions. They were both in a wheel chair, had feeding tubes, and needed restroom assistance. Though they are now passed, I enjoyed every moment we had together and learned a lot from them! I would love to help you take care of your loved ones too. I have also cared for an elderly gentleman who had MS, and have a nephew with severe Autism.

I worked in a house for non verbal men , with special needs and escorted to workshop daily , and on out door outings and meal prep , bathing changing, meds, have certification in first aid, CPR, feed tube, took care of my father law with diabetes, kidney dialysis, Then feeding tube, To wheel chair bound, bathed, toilet, meds, TV time and taking outdoors and sitting on the porch just listening to birds and talking with him to let him be peaceful

I have worked for In-Home Service or SSI, taking care of children with special needs, handicapped and elderly people. I have a sister who has been in a wheelchair for over 20 years. I have done bathing, medicines, meal preparations, range of motion, and bowel programs. I have worked with mental illness, spinal cord injury, Down Syndrome, and Cerebral Palsy.

I did volunteer work at a school my mom worked at. The children had CP, some children were Developmentally delayed, had problems with speech! I enjoyed to help take them out to the fair grounds when the fair was in town! I also have a disabled brother who was in a bad car accident in 2005. I helped my parents care for him until I moved to Tucson, AZ. I just recently moved back to NM with my husband and newly adopted 3 children who we love dearly. We do plan on going further and adopting more in the future. For now I am a stay at home mommy who would love to help my spouse make money for the home and a better future for our children. So I am seeking employment in my home to care for your children who will have socialization with my three children.
