Can walk only with a walker but needs to be watched in case of falling.
Takes only a few pills each day.
Loves to talk, decorate, flower arranging, religion, had 7 children of her own so enjoys talking about family, prefers to spend time with young adults. Loves old TV movies. Husband deceased. Does not want to go to a retirement home but wants to stay in her own home. Has a cat (primarily live outdoors) but sometimes inside.
Daily routine
Breakfast, pills, vitals, TV (says Rosary every morning)
Out for Dr appts, if any, hair dresser and/or shopping.
Watches TV most days when no specific appointments are on her calendar. Loves visits from children and/or grandchildren.
Light lunch
Nap on some days but not consistently
Bath/Shower several days a week or as needed
Dinner, pills, vitals in early evening. Put her to bed by 10 p.m. if not earlier.
Need someone to care for her personal needs, bathe, comb hair, get her to walk around the house for exercise each day, take her to appointments, light cleaning, cooking meals, and listen to her stories,
No smoking, vaping, pets, drugs or alcohol use permitted. Can not be allergic to cats since her cat is allowed in the house.
About the care needs: personality - someone willing to listen but can also share stories
specialized skills - general caregiving skills; bathing, combing hair, helping with dressing, toilet, talking, encouraging her to walk in house for exercise.
No specific hobbies required but nice if shares a love of crafts, flower arranging or decorating.
Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
