I've been working with special needs children and adults for about 2 years at a clinic. Before that I was a private therapist for a few families whose children had autism.

My current full time job I work in a group home with 8 mentally challenged adult men. I've been doing this since June 2015. I also have a nephew who has Asperger's Syndrome, whom I am very close to and watch when needed.

I have 6 years of prior experience working in the Learning Center and the Special Needs Department at a local school and other centers. I have experience with children with Muscular Dystrophy, Cerebral Palsy, ADHD/ADD, Down Syndrome, Fetal Alcohol Syndrome, Emotionally Disabled, Autism, Etc.

I have been babysitting since fourth grade. I also worked in a school setting with children with special needs. I did this regularly for 4+ years. I also provided afterschool services as well. I can help with meal preparation, light housekeeping, medications, bathing, and feeding.
