Hello! Our family will be moving to Peoria in mid November and we need a loving nanny to care for our 2-year-old. A little bit about us: Our son is very friendly and energetic. He loves anything with wheels, and adores our very patient cat. The ideal schedule would be Mon - Fri from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. But we are willing to consider part time applicants if you are available from 1 to 5 p.m. I (mom) work from home so I have some flexibility. We are a bi cultural family, so a native Spanish speaker would be ideal. We are looking for at least 5 years of paid experience, ideally in a daycare or preschool setting so you can help our son get ready for preschool when the time comes. We are vaccinated and will ask for proof of COVID-19 vaccination as well as seasonal flu shot.

We're looking for someone who can basically work full time weekdays with occasional (fairly rare) evening babysitting for us to have date night (if we ever get back to a normal life!). Diaper changes are part of the gig of course. The baby's drinking formula bottles, and we'd appreciate if you could help make them. We'll have some cooked food made for the toddler, but we would appreciate if you could make him sandwiches and snacks at lunchtime and throughout the day. He's great at feeding himself! The toddler climbs up on the potty but you may have to help remind him to go. Lastly the most important part to this job is that you engage with the kids. Teach the toddler his ABC's, etc, and talk to the baby!

As her parents we are bilingual (Spanish and English) and would love this quality in a nanny but it is not required.
