Hi! My name is Yesica, and I'm 27 years old. I am originally from Bucaramanga, Colombia, and I came to the United States about three years ago to be an au pair, or nanny, to two children - ages 3 and 7 at the time. Daily duties included driving, cooking, housekeeping, and keeping the children active and well-behaved. I am dependable, trustworthy, hardworking, and certified in Child and Baby First Aid/CPR/AED. I love children and have a lot of experience taking care of them. I hope you give me the opportunity to learn more about your family and your family's needs. My schedule is flexible and I'm willing to do additional other tasks beyond providing childcare if requested.

I have known Yesica for a little over 3 years, during which I have gotten to know her quite well. She joined our family in August 2017 as a full-time Au pair to care for my two young children. She was responsible for dropping off and picking up my kids from school, taking them to after-school activities, preparing their meals, bathing them, and much more. My kids love spending time online, but Yesica was always looking for ways to spend more time with them offline and engaged in the "real" world. After school and during the weekends, they'd spend time reading books, playing sports, practicing Spanish, or learning new dance moves. Yesica was also willing to do extra jobs or chores around the house for pay when negotiated in advance. Although she could only stay with us for two years, Yesica will always be part of the family. Without hesitation, I would recommend Yesica as a reliable and trustworthy caregiver.

Hi, I am new to Care. com and I look forward to building my profile and meeting new families! I have run an in home daycare here on Capitol Hill near Eastern Market for 12 years now. Recently, I chose to close it due to the high cost of rent in DC:/ it was an amazing 12 years of serving this community and I look forward to continuing my work with children. My experience working with infants/children ranges from caring for preemies, twins, special needs as well as infants from birth-14 years old. I have my CPR/first aid certification through the American Red Cross. A couple of my past time favorites are creating fun arts and crafts as well as enjoying the outdoors! I am also bilingual speaking English and Spanish. Available to start asap! I look forward to a potential working partnership with your family:) -Gabriela (References available upon request!)

Gabby was with us from the time my daughter was 11 weeks to 10 months. We had to sever ties due to the pandemic and us moving. We had a nanny share, so she was also watching one other baby the same age. As a mom of two and as someone who has employed other nannies I can attest to the fact that Gabby is a superb caretaker. She made juggling two infant schedules easily. Despite the fact that there are so many shifts regarding schedules, eating, sleeping, etc. during this time period she always honored my requests (however ridiculous) and made sure that the babies received the engagement, sleep, nutrition and snuggles that they needed. My daughter quickly bonded with Gabby (our whole family did really) and we had zero issues or concerns with the quality of care she received. I have recommended her to numerous families.
