We are looking to hire a full-time nanny for our family to support us with caring for our 2 children. We live in Emerald Hills (between Woodside & Redwood City) in a nice neighborhood with a lot of parks and we have a large backyard to entertain the kids (especially with the limited options during the pandemic). We are a French-American-Indian family and we are hoping to find a nanny that can be part of our family long-term. Being bilingual is a nice to have (English & Spanish, ideally). Mom and dad work from home offices, but are more than happy to help out with girls throughout the day. Both girls are pretty easy going. They love imaginary play and being outside. We're looking for someone with lots of energy and endless imagination! While they must also respect you as the authority figure, our girls do best with people they think of as playmates. Spanish speaking is a must as we prefer you speak with our girls in Spanish 100% of the time. We may also ask for your help with laundry folding, light cleaning, and meal prep. Hours are 6:30am -2:00pm Monday - Friday. Duties include assisting the 2 older kids with e-learning, creating a positive and structured learning environment, helping them to stay engaged and focused, preparing lunches and snacks, and engaging their toddler with age appropriate play and attention to milestones, light housekeeping, and children's laundry. The best fit for us will be someone who LOVES working with young children and has an interest in early childhood education. You will create a preschool like daily schedule including hands-on learning activities such as art/craft, sensory games, outdoor play, etc. You'll be given time to plan activities and a budget to purchase resources/materials.
