The purpose of SHPC Preschool is to minister to the needs of families with young children by providing part-time, affordable and safe child care and an enriched learning environment in a Christian context. The children in our program are ages 4 months through 5 years old.
Our preschool classes have a low teacher-student ratio, lots of hands-on activities, and a child-friendly curriculum designed to meet each child's needs. We attend chapel each week where the students are introduced to God's love for us. The preschool staff are very loving people who enjoy working with children. Each staff member attends 24 hours of continuing education in the Early Childhood field, and are all certified in CPR and First Aid.
Our program meets on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m., loosely following the A.I.S.D. school year calendar. The 3 and 4-year-olds also have a fourth day option on Tuesdays.
