I originally hired Jewels to care for my mom who was dying. My mom adored her. Jewels was beyond the best hospice nurse aide. I had recently become a widow as my husband had taken his life and I was a young mom of four kids. My youngest is nonverbal autistic who has trouble connecting with people. Instantly he connected with her. All of my kids loved her. I asked if she would be able to care for my kids so I can finish my last 6 months of school. She is incredible. She never missed a day and stayed late with no notice. She took my kids to the zoo, park, even helped them make puppets & a short play that they performed. On my hubby's birthday, my kids were so sad, with my permission, she put a small party to help my kids celebrate their daddy. We moved back home, and miss her terribly. She will forever be family. We miss you Jewels!!!
