I am a 61-year-old retired nurse with 3 grown kids. Although I have not worked in the nursing field since raising kids, I have many years of experience caring for the elderly in the hospital, doctor's office, and private duty nursing, as well as caring for my father before he passed away a few months ago. I am caring, calm, and easy going, and have never had a problem with relating to an elderly person(s). In fact, I worked exclusively for two different households with senior patients with dementia and various illnesses in their homes over a period of a couple years for home healthcare agencies.
