Medically retired from Army. In a motorized wheelchair. Can help with transport from bed to wheelchair or to bathroom with assistance. I'm looking for someone who is patient, strong. Dad has very early stages of dementia mostly just short term memory issues. He is a nice man, very proud and has become quite introverted and quiet.

Seeking care for my father - tues-thurs-every other Sat.- 15 hrs / Wk Services needed: preparing light meals, bathing / medicine oversight, about my father: he can be lethargic, pleasant, reserved. I work from home and need help juggling everything with dads care so I can focus on my work. I am also experiencing caregiver burnout after 4. 5 years of caring for dad. Both are capable of walking with walkers but might need occasion aid in balance. They have some help already but need another helper basically in the afternoons.

Specialized care needs: support for chronic illness. Female caregiver preferred. A little more about myself: I can be independent. I'm looking for someone who is patient, chatty, quiet, firm, strong, fond of pets. I am 44 yrs old and have 2 autoimmune diseases Sjogren's Syndrome and Multiple Sclerosis. I can get up and walk or move around. But those days I don't have any energy to get things done. I'm always tired. Can't get much done by myself. Plus I have a Chihuahua who needs so much attention and love. She loves to be outside and go for her walks. I try to go for a walk but not in the heat and it use up my energy for the day. And btw I'm hard of hearing. Wear 2 hearing aids. Can talk to me normally. English Sign language is a plus if u know some. :-) not ASL. Thank you.
