Teacher Looking For Nanny Job

I chose a career in education because of my love for working with children. I enjoy teaching them and engaging them in fun crafts and activities. I have taken care of children of all ages from five days old to teenagers. I worked for one main family for almost 10 years (through my high school and college). There were four children ages 6 months, 16 months, 5, and 7 (when I first started). I enjoyed watching them grow and develop into young men and women. The youngest child we found had Asperger's syndrome and I helped with child play, socialization, yoga (to help with screaming fits), and other activities to help him develop and learn. Working there I would help with homework, drive to activities, cook meals, take to doctors appointments, do crafts and play time, take to play dates, pick up when sick at school, take to the pool, park, museums, and various other day to day plans that a family of four has. My final year there I took on even more responsibilities when their eldest boy got cancer. While in New York, I would have full responsibility for the other three children (the boy is healthy and cancer free). It was such a joy to be a part of their family. I have also helped with other families and family members throughout my life. I worked for a family with children with severe allergies, multiples (up to triplets), and large families. I am a very energetic person who loves to be outside. My husband and I love to camp, hike, fish, and swim. Being a teacher, one can guess I love to learn, read and plan activities. I also have a lot of patience and can remain calm in various situations. I have a very dependable car and have never had an accident. For families with pets, I have no allergies and I love animals almost as much as children. I would not mind letting pets out, giving a little love, and making sure they have food and water. I am currently working towards a masters (very slowly) and later a PhD. I have worked in school systems and a daycare as part time and full time substitute teachers and have had thorough background checks. I was current in CPR (for both little ones and adults) as of a few months ago. I am currently going to enroll in another class to get re-certified. If there are any other questions feel free to contact me. I would love to hear from you and hear about your precious little ones.
