We moved here from South Africa in February. In South Africa the school year runs from January to December. When I enrolled the children here, they were 6 months behind in their grades. They are grade 3 and 4. English was their second language in school. We used the metric system and not imperial like here. Reading, grammar and construction need a lot of attention. As well as mathematics. The exams are coming up in April. I need the kids to be ready for that and to pass their grades this year. Additional needs include having a reliable car.
