Applicant must have experience working with autism, ability to set firm boundaries while remaining friendly, kind and motivating. The help needed will vary from homework, reading comprehension, english, history and science. There is an opportunity for more hours.

Hands on, loves science and art. In person at our home. We have parking but no access to public transportation.

You will be providing him with direct academic support on all assignments or with basics in a specific subject. Educational Assistance & Nanny Needed We are looking for someone to help us support virtual learning for our 3 daughters in Mechanicsville (9, 8 and 2) for the upcoming school year. The older girls will need assistance getting connected online and staying engaged in their assignments. Hanover county is providing all educational content. Mom is working from home full time and can help support, but needs assistance due to work obligations. The girls love playing outside and are very inquisitive. We are flexible on hours, but would like to have someone come daily 8:30-12:30 and assist with this new routine

I have a 12-year-old son going into 6th grade who is part of the mainstream classroom. He has gotten all As and BS in school, but really struggles. He is a great kid, very social, fantastic imagination, and excels in humanities and science. He struggles with math, spelling, and writing. He has a learning disability with working memory, multi step thinking, and slow processing skills. He can write simple paragraphs and he can do fraction work and decimals, but we have found he works much better in a 1 on 1 environment with no distractions. We would like to keep up tutoring throughout the summer and then contemplate if home school in the fall is a possibility, so this good be a steady stream of work. We would prefer teachers who have worked with kids with learning disabilities. Schooling would be at our home.

Mechanicsville family needs help with a learning coach for our 5th grader. We are looking to have someone start in January 2021. We have 2 pets, a cat and a dog, but you will not be expected to care for either. Our son is mostly self sufficient, but keeping him on task and engaging him after school hours would be ideal. I work from home, but have found being a learning coach and a full time employee has proven to be too difficult.

My family needs part-time help to facilitate virtual learning our kids in one family's home. We have chosen virtual learning and are practicing social distancing.
