We need a reliable, caring, dynamic, creative full time babysitter for two of our 3 kids this fall. Both will be distance learning. One (7 yo) has special needs (autism-but very social) and will need facilitation of suggested activities/therapies from school. The other (5 yo) will need facilitation of kindergarten learning in language immersion and otherwise lots of creative energy burning! We have been careful during covid and would expect any caregiver to be doing the same-letting us know if symptoms, masking in public, washing hands, no travel/large gatherings. We have lots to do at home outside and the boys are really sweet. Experience or education with special needs kids highly preferable.

We are in search of an energetic, compassionate, and organized nanny/teacher to lead an in-home second grade elementary distance learning for 2020/2021 school year. Our in-home nanny/teacher position is an hourly part-time role based in a family's home. You will be assisting in teaching two children ages 7 years old in distance learning second grade from there school. Willing to commit to a full year (Aug. 2020 / June 2021). Family may be open to paying for additional hours but on an infrequent basis, if amenable to the nanny/teacher.

My husband and I work full-time, primarily from our home, and we are looking for someone to come to our home to help manage our first grader's e-learning while also adapting or creating lessons for our 4-year-old so that he can learn during this time too. This is the third year that I have home schooled my oldest son. He is in third grade now. We have recently experienced some major changes in our family and I am in need of someone to take over some of the home schooling responsibilities for him. I would like to start with having someone work with him two days a week for 4-6 hours and then we can re-evaluate our needs as we go. We use a faith-based curriculum and would like to find someone who is comfortable with teaching this. The days are flexible, but mornings are his best time to work. Mainly need homework help, test prep, and re-teaching "dense" math concepts so they "sink in". Duties will also include reviewing notability notes taken in class, staying on top of daily / weekly assignments associated with distance learning assignments , and implementing an action plan to help improve child's performance scores. Open to in-person or virtual tutoring depending on the candidate. Our home is located (near the Arboretum of South Barrington).
