I was most recently a Toddler Teacher at a very reputable preschool in Reno; however, I have realized that daycares, such as the one that I worked for, tend to push the ratio boundaries a little too far. I believe that smaller ratios would be more productive for the children, so that they can get more one-on-one time with the teacher in order to have more interaction, as well as be able to have more time to learn and be hands-on. That is why I will never have a ratio higher than 1:4. I will always provide a monthly curriculum calendar of our planned daily activities so that you can see what your child is learning each day in class. I will also keep daily logs of the childrens' diapers, meals, and nap times, for your convenience. I have 8+ years of experience caring for children of all ages, and, as stated earlier, I was most recently a Toddler Teacher at a preschool in town. I am CPR and First Aid certified, and I have a current Washoe County Sheriff's card and negative TB test, too. I also have recent training in SIDS, Communicable Diseases, and Child Abuse and Neglect. My home will be open for care between the hours of 7am and 6pm Monday-Friday. I will be providing Graham Crackers and Cheerios as snacks; however, all other meals for your child will need to be provided by you each day. (I have a separate refrigerator that will be used to store the children's meals specifically, and I also have a microwave that can be used, so feel free to bring foods that need to be refrigerated and/or heated up). Upon registering for care in my home, a $100 material fee will be needed in order to reserve your spot. It will also go towards the materials that I will provide during your child's stay in my home (pack'n'play crib, high chair, art supplies, play equipment, etc.). My rates are as follows: $125/week for full time care $95/week for part time care (2-3 days a week) Please feel free to inquire about reserving a spot via email ASAP, as spots are expected to fill up fast. I can also send you some more information on the curriculum if you are interested. I look forward to working with you!
