My daughter was 3 years when I decided to search for a daycare provider/preschool for her to attend. At first, she attended an at home day care for two weeks before I pulled her and placed her into a Headstart preschool at the college I attend. Unfortunately, after five weeks of misery I finally pulled her from that program as well. Prior to me enrolling my daughter into Headstart, I had an interview with Monica at her home. The interview went very well and I observed how empathetic, patient and kind she was with her children. The only reason I did not initially place my child in the care of Monica was because I had heard such great things about the program at my college and wanted to give it a try. It went horribly though, and I was left with anxiety and stress over the fact that I did not have a stable, and loving environment for my daughter to attend preschool in, especially 8 weeks into my semester. After this second failed attempt at preschool/daycare I called Monica and asked her if she had an opening, she did, and accepted my daughter right away. The experience has been very pleasant for both her, myself, and our family. My daughter has made numerous new friends, learned and grown so much in her time with Monica and Noel. She talks about them, gives them hugs and feels safe with them at their residence and that means so much to me to have my daughter in that environment.
