Pooch Pals has been providing walking and overnight pet sitting services in Manhattan since 1999. We are fully licensed and insured with an excellent staff made up of animal lovers who have mastered a number of positive training techniques. That means we do more than just ensure that your beloved pet is well taken care of. We also reinforce good behavior training every step of the way.

We are a group of certified and classically/academically trained pet care specialists. Our employees range from certified dog trainers to award-winning dog walkers. We also very much involve ourselves in community service work in regard to pet care and adoption.

Animals are very sensitive to energy and living in New York can make things a bit more challenging for the nervous systems of our animal companions. Totem PetCare was founded in Greenpoint Brooklyn in 2010 by Alan Scheurman after working in shelters and boarding facilities that didn't quite provide the best environments for animals pushed him to find a better way to serve the real needs of dogs, cats, and birds in the city. With a background in healing work and a deep love for all animals it was only natural that Scheurman would eventually combine his passions to create a new level of animal care. Now Totem PetCare has grown into a team of reiki attuned, extremely caring walkers and sitters serving the Williamsburg area and most of Manhattan.

Just because your dog lives in the city doesn't mean that they shouldn't get the freedom, enjoyment, and companionship that they deserve. Our staff is fully trained in animal care & safety and has years of dog walking experience. Let us show you the Shake~N~Sniff way!

*Our services are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.

*We offer pair and single dog walks, in-home visits for feedings and medication, in-home puppy care, accompaniment to vet and grooming appointments, and we will even restock your pet's food and medication at your request!

*We try our best to always provide the same walker for your dog, so that everyone involved is as comfortable as possible.

*We provide GPS tracking for all walks at no extra cost so that you can have the peace of mind of knowing where your dog is and that you're getting the services you are paying for.

*We are GREEN! We use only biodegradable poop bags and prefer to email all documentation in order to save paper (printed documents are available upon request).

Pawsitive Influence is offering dog walking and sitting services for pups of all kinds in Brooklyn and Manhattan. We are a dog walking/sitting collective with sliding scale rates.

Here's how this works:

Each client has a primary walker. Their primary walker is their point of contact to the collective, and if the primary walker isn't available for any reason, it is the primary walker's responsibility to arrange coverage and notify the client and put those parties in contact with one another.

Our rates!
Always sliding scale, always up for discussion.

Half hour walk: Suggested rate of $15-$40.

Clients CAN change their rate as needed. Money's tight? Down to $15 for the week. Got a raise? Increase it. We just need a week's notice if you want to change it.

Hour walk: Suggested $30-$70.
Same thing - rate can vary as needed.

We only walk dogs who are already friends with each other. Four dog household? Cool. Walk with the next door neighbor? Cool. Any dog after the first one, we suggest you pay for an extra half dog. So two dogs would cost a dog and a half; three dogs would cost two dogs.

Overnight sitting rates are negotiable.
