Hello, My name is Kelsey. I love to babysit both kids and animals. I have extensive knowledge and experience with both. Including;
-Volunteering at elementary in a group. In which I mentor struggling 4th and 5th graders. Helping them achieve both academic and social success by performing both self beneficial exercises that boost there confidence in themselves, and their awareness and compassion for others, as well as encouraging and helping them complete their school work. (Time in occupation: August 2011-current)
-Volunteering and performing therapeutic horseback riding to both children and adults with mental and physical disabilities. (2010-current)
-Completed and passed an babysitter training course through the American Red Cross in 2008. Acquiring skills such as; infant and child CPR, the picking up and holding of both infants and toddlers, the feeding of infants, toddlers, and kids, diapering, games and activities for all different ages, techniques of how to get all ages to sleep, first aid, and how to recognize and deal with emergencies.
-Experienced in house sitting, animal care, and babysitting. Including house sitting and caring for animals for a full month as well as babysitting for more than 24 hours. (2008-current)
-Participating as both member and a leaders in dog for 10 years. Learning valuable skills such as how to care for, groom, handle, and show dogs.
-Participating in club association as a member and a leader for 12 years. Gaining knowledge such as how to care for, handle, groom, ride, show, and do more much with and for horses in a very safe and professional manner.
-Growing up and being highly involved in the family owned and operated veterinary clinic. Performing tasks such as clipping dogs and cats nails, grooming and bathing a variety of animals, assisting in numerous surgical procedures, communicating and comforting owners, handling and caring for patients, and dealing with a diverse and extensive amount of emergencies.
My main motive to be a caregiver is because it is something I enjoy and feel very comfortable doing, as well as gaining more work experience and saving up for college. You can reach me through email, texts, or calls.
