I started my pet and home care service out of love and necessity. After sixteen years of marriage I became a single mother. I had spent those sixteen years caring for a home, a child and plenty of pets. Now, I needed to return to the world of work. I knew I wanted to start my own business and I knew it had to do with animals. I started Carol's Pets and House Care in order to pursue my pet passions and bring peace of mind to other busy pet loving people.

I have been a dog and people trainer in the Seattle Puget sound area for 20+ years and have offered boarding for dogs as well. I am Andrea, and I have been professionally Dog Boarding and Pet Sitting for over 9 years. This isn't a job for me, its my passion. For pet sitting in your home, I am licensed, Insured, Pet CPR Certified, and a member of PUPS. I have experience with medications, special needs dogs and cats, and have excellent references. Your pets will love feeling secure and safe with someone in their own home caring for them, where some of them prefer to stay.

For Dog Boarding clients......Our yard is completely fenced in, we do not have young children at home, and we don't have cats or indoor plants in reach of curious noses.
We go for walks every day and at our house, your dog will get plenty of exercise! We throw the ball, play frisbee, they run and play to their hearts content. In your dogs eyes its not boarding...its like camp!!

I will treat your furry best friend as though they are family, because for the time they are here, they are! They sleep where we sleep, they follow us around, they cuddle when we watch tv, and that home environment makes them feel calm and secure, just like being at your home! We are unique in offering private home boarding and unlike other facilities, they will not come home all dirty from running in the woods and be at risk for fleas and ticks....Or feel anxiety from being in a 10x20 kennel run waiting for their owners to come get them.

Dog Day Camp and Boarding

We offer a mobile pet care service, where we come to your home to care for your pets, while you're away. Whatever you do for your pet, we'll do.

This includes:
Feed/water
Giving medications
Brushing
Playing
Reinforce training

Whatever your pet's regular routine is, we want to follow as closely as possible. If you've got a dog needing lots of love, we're going give it love. If you've got a rat you love to kiss, we're going kiss your rat.

We are trustworthy people and to prove it we're licensed, bonded and insured. As a bonus feature while we're in your home we'll alternate lights, pickup mail, open and close the curtains - just give your home that lived in look.

We want to provide you with the assurance that your pets and your home are well taken care of, so you have the freedom and peace of mind to enjoy your time away.

I love animals, all kinds, but especially dogs and cats. I grew up with dogs, cats, birds, turtles and fish, etc. in the home. And when my children were growing up, they experienced the same. We only had one dog though, a golden retriever named Dudley, and he was like a son, as he was with us for 14 years. I have cared for family pets for many years, as well as pets, mainly dogs and cats, of family and friends when they had to be away from home for vacations, hospitalizations, etc. After retiring from working full time, I decided to start my own small cat boarding service located in my home. Some cats do just fine in a boarding environment, but some do not do well at all and are best cared for in the comforts of their own home (especially multi-cat homes). I have chosen to extend my services to include the care of these precious cats in order to minimize their anxiety and allow them to feel safe and secure while their family is away. I also look forward to caring for dogs that need a good walk and some playtime during the day.

I have had over 9 years of dog obedience experience. We have a professional groomer as an employee as well and 2 of us have veterinary experience as well.
