Hello, my name is Maya and I am currently looking for a job that involves pet sitting and occasional child care. I Am the owner of 3 dogs at home and a bunny named Louis in my dorm here in Amherst. I am very experienced in childcare. I have worked in the preschools of Brookline MA.

I have countless years of experience with many breeds of cats and dogs. I am an animal lover. Sadly, I had to put down my beloved 17 1/2-year-old golden retriever. Average life expectancy is 11-13 years, so I must have been doing something right! I have cats, a turtle that I found as a baby and a leopard gecko. I've always had a passion and fondness of all animals even when I was little. I knew I either wanted to be a veterinarian or a nurse. So, I became a registered nurse. I love all kinds of animals and have a lot of experience with nurturing, caring and rehabilitation of many breeds including rescuing cats, baby wild birds, seagulls, and turtles. For years I fostered mother cats and their kittens so that they could grow up in a loving home rather than a shelter which I volunteer at. I have experience with medication administration of cats and dogs, caring of diabetic cats and insulin injections. I'll care for your animals like they were my own!

I have four years of experience taking care of cats and dogs for family and friends. Over the years my family and I have owned cats, dogs, hamsters, and fish! In addition, I have helped foster cats and find homes for strays. I am a huge animal lover and willing to help out with any pets! I currently own and take care of my 3-year-old Portuguese Water Dog.
