Fort Washington, MD Pet Care Jobs

I am looking for somebody to take care of my two dogs while I am traveling April 6 through April 14. At a minimum, the dogs will need to be fed and medicated at 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. each day. Preferably, morning, midday, evening walks. Ideally, you would stay at my home or live close enough to come by 3x a day. I live in Fort, Washington, close to the national park. Arlo, hound mix, 2 years old Extremely friendly and exuberant, loves other dogs, but is very good at escaping. He needs Prozac in the morning. You can park at the house, not much public transportation nearby. Roxy is 6 years old, laid-back, friendly, and goofy. Roxy needs medication at 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. because she is epileptic. Roxy gets along very well with other animals.

My husband and I just moved to the area from Chicago and are in need of a new pet sitter. Looking for someone to let our dog out during the day when we are both at work and will need care for the occasional vacation. Our dog will just need let outside in our yard for a potty break. Our perfect candidate would have these qualifications. 1. Must have at least 5 years' experience in the animal field. 2. Able to follow very specific instructions. (we have some special needs animals) 3. Covid vaccinated 4. Able to do a meet and greet with us in our home. (we are both vaccinated) 5. The person we meet will be the only one in our home. (no children, spouses, or other staff members) 6. Insured 7. Have the ability to do overnight visits when we take a vacation a few times a year. 8. Non-smoker 9. Patient and compassionate
