About who needs care: Very poor mobility, incontinence issues (needs to be reminded and brought in & helped to change Depend and incontinence pad and also to put mattress pad into laundry) Needs medications, 'some' memory issues but not dementia. Is a smoker.
Due to immobility she's doesn't do much of anything but would like to go out sometimes for shopping, get a burger or just an outing. Enjoys antiques, going to grocery store just to see things. Likes to tell her recipes and have someone make it.
Her ideal day at this point would be to sleep all day. She NEEDS to get up and get dressed, have a breakfast made for her, light housekeeping & conversation.
About the care needs: The main thing for a good fit is someone who doesn't mind her cigarette smoke. Second to that is a pleasant, easy going person but knows how to persuade her to take medications, change undergarments and encourage her politely but with stern intentions that it's time to do this or that.
Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, bathing / dressing, medication prompting, mobility assistance, and help staying physically active.
Preference for a caregiver who is female.
