About who needs care: My Dad is 79 years old. On May 6th, he fell and broke his left arm and fractured 3 ribs. He spent 3 days in the hospital and then another 2 weeks in a skilled nursing facility. We are now home. He will be receiving home health care (PT, OT, and a skilled nurse). I work full time in downtown Akron. I am looking for someone to come 2 times per week and help with personal hygiene, specifically bathing, and assist with little tasks around the house: let his (very old, gentle) dog out, grab him ice, microwave him a meal. He uses a cane to walk and while not the most steady, he gets around pretty good. Overall, my Dad is a very sweet man. He will crack jokes and want to chat, but is generally an easy going person. Services needed include: transportation, companionship, feeding, and bathing / dressing.

About who needs care: had a fall and now cannot walk unassisted. Needs help bath rooming, showering, preparing two meals a day in an office setting. We have full bathroom, kitchen in family business office so he can come in and enjoy the day with the family. About the care needs: friendly, likes to joke around, patient, would like him to have a shower at least twice a week, help in bathroom, wiping and changing depends, changing clothes. He can feed himself but need help preparing meals at times. All food is simple, ready to serve. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.

I work remotely every other Monday and Tuesday and need an extra pair of hands to help me care for my 6-month-old so I can get work done.
