Full Time
Shirley enjoys sitting in her lift chair and watching TV, coloring, or reading the newspaper. She likes to take short, 15 minute walks, but her recent back surgery requires her to relax more and rest in her condo.
Shirley enjoys rides around town and going to DQ for Blizzards. Shopping at Ollie's or Hamricks ranks high on the list too! When she isn't watching TV, she enjoys coloring and sorting through family pictures.
We are looking for someone who doesn't mind repeating the same conversation often as Shirley does have dementia and is in the early stages of Alzheimer's. We need someone with a Christ-like heart who shows compassion and care when Shirley may be a bit down or even grumpy. Sometimes she refuses to bathe like she did as a toddler and cannot clean herself properly, but she still laughs, smiles, listens, and feels - she has a beautiful soul. If you can practice patience, exercise compassion, take care of some basic meal preparation, assist with bathing, medication, and do a little bit of coloring with Shirley, please contact us!
Yes, parking is available.
