Needs assistance with getting up and down, showering/ personal hygiene, changing clothes. Really can't do much for himself. I'm looking for someone who is patient, firm, strong, bilingual. Speaks Italian, is patient and has experience with clients who have difficulty being mobile. Because of the two different time slots on Sunday I think it would be beneficial if this person lives in Revere or close to Revere. My dad is basically quiet but can be stubborn at times. Caregivers primary responsibilities include getting him out of bed, showering him, brushing teeth, getting him dressed, serving him his meals. Meals will be prepared so they only need to be heated before serving.

Looking for person to assist in caring for my mother who has late stage Alzheimer's. You would assist me in transferring my mom to a chair, toilet, bed or a wheel chair. You may also assist me with sponge bathing her. You would encourage her to drink and eat and may have to feed her. The majority of your time would be spent sitting with her while I am out of the house. Mom she sleeps a lot and is usually no trouble. This is strictly for being a back-up for when my regular aide calls out or takes a day off.

If you are asked to work it would be a minimum (2) hour shift in the daytime and a minimum (4) hour shift in the evening. Primary duties are being a companion to my mother when she watches TV. She will have brief moments when she is combative and verbally abusive. Additional duties are bringing her snacks and encouraging her to drink. Depending on the day and time we may have to team up to give her a sponge bath and change her clothes.
