Seeking hands-on care in Maryville for my father in his 70s. Dad suffers from a Parkinson's Movement Disorder - the message from his brain to his lower limbs is delayed, so movement is slow/difficult. Dad is wheelchair bound, and his brain disorder causes incontinence. Mom is Dad's full-time caregiver, but she needs daily help. All 7 days offered, 10 a.m. to noon.
Duties include transfers, bathing, assist with bathroom needs, helping with movement goals, and other tasks as necessary.
Pay is $15/hour initially - assumes a candidate with skills for the job & transportation. Caregivers with more qualifications (CNA, nursing, PT, OT) and/or who show consistent reliability (show up when you say you will) & patience are eligible for more pay. Mask required. Candidates whose lifestyle choices limit COVID exposure will be prioritized.
